A typical scene in the first half of the Century: Steam at its best. This M7 Tank was once a well battered Triang Model, but carefully refurbished featuring 40:1 gears and 5 pole motor and finished in full Southern livery. Many details were added, mostly in brass and all hand made. Although the wheelsets are still coarse, the loco runs smoothly, quietly and due to extra pickups on all axles, rarely falters even at very sedate speeds. |
